Work experience. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business (specialising in Finance) from Dublin Institute of Technology. I started my career in the Financial Services Industry in Dublin, Ireland where I am from. I first moved to Australia in 2007 where I expanded my skills in the Investment Management space in Investment Operations where I have over 17 years of experience.
Describe what you do and why you are good at it. Using my experience, I support our clients as we develop and implement their financial plans. I aim to provide an exceptional service to clients ensuring they experience the added value that McGregor Wealth Management has to offer.
Outside of work – what do you like to do? I love to spend time with my family and friends. I stay active running, walking, playing tennis and exploring the coast with my family. As a family we love to travel, and a travel plan is always on the agenda!
What is one thing about you that people would be surprised to know? I am a qualified Pilates Instructor and adore Pilates, I also have an identical twin sister.
What is your favourite book, movie and food? Very hard to choose just one…Book, I always loved ‘Open’ by Andre Agassi. A recent movie which I loved was Nyad and my favourite food is Italian
I knew we needed a clear and straightforward plan that focused on our specific goals. Without going through the goal setting process, I think we would have continued with ad hoc investing that reacted to markets, instead of having a very specific plan. Once everything is set up, the process really is set and forget. We have 2 simple goals: to retire “on time” with our goal retirement funds behind us; and to continue investing to support our income goals. Both of them are on track!
